Can I use this service if I'm visiting India?
Yes. Even NRIs visiting India can use FoodtoIndia if their international cards get declined on Swiggy/Zomato or if they don't have an Indian phone number for OTP.
What happens if delivery fails?
If delivery fails due to issues on our end (restaurant closed, delivery partner unavailable), you receive a full refund. We actively monitor all orders to minimize such situations.
How do I send a food order to India from abroad?
Enter the recipient's address in India, browse local restaurants near them, pay in USD with any international card, and we handle the local order and delivery. The same steps work whether you are ordering for family, friends, colleagues, or yourself, and from any country - the USA, UK, Canada, UAE, Qatar, or anywhere else.
What's the difference between this and using Swiggy/Zomato directly?
Swiggy and Zomato are built around Indian phone logins and UPI. Swiggy has an international login now, but delivery usually still expects an Indian contact number and international cards fail on some gateways. FoodtoIndia fixes all of these.
Is the food the same quality as ordering directly?
Yes, it's the exact same food from the exact same restaurants. We're not a separate kitchen. We simply help you place orders at local restaurants that you couldn't access directly from abroad.
How do I know the food was delivered?
We email you a tracking link once the order is dispatched. The tracking comes to you, not to your recipient. Our dispatchers monitor every order and can intervene if there are any issues.
Can I send food to any city in India?
Yes, FoodtoIndia works in 500+ cities across India. Enter any address and we'll show you restaurants that deliver there. If delivery isn't available in a particular area, we'll let you know.
Can I send food to elderly parents or grandparents who are not tech-savvy?
